Tom Colligan serves as the Platform Engineer for the Warming-Induced Emissions Model Intercomparison Project (WIE-MIP) at Spark, where he is responsible for designing and deploying WIE-MIP compute and storage infrastructure. He also leads the development of the LPJ-EOSIM dynamic global vegetation model. Prior to joining Spark, he was employed at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center/University of Maryland, where he worked at the intersection of computer science and land surface modeling. He holds a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Montana.
