External Guest Author: Will Sawyer, PhD, is an engineer developing and scaling climate solutions to limit near-term warming. Drawing on a background in both engineering and environmental science, he works at the intersection of climate science and industrial technoeconomics to explore early-stage climate technologies and interventions. This focus led him to found Resolute Methane, where he is developing breakthrough technology to eliminate low-concentration methane emissions from agriculture and industry. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, a BE in Engineering from Dartmouth College, and a BA in Earth and Environmental Science from Wesleyan University.
