Nicolas Esguerra

Nicolas E. Esguerra is a Project Director at UCLA School of Law and will work on the Project on Earth System Interventions Law and Policy at the Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. His research and policy engagement lies in international climate policy and the law and policy of interventions into natural systems in response to escalating climate risk. He previously worked as Director of International Policy at SilverLining, where he engaged with international policymakers on similar issues.

Esguerra received his B.A. in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies magna cum laude from Columbia University and his M.A. in Global Affairs from Yale University.
