Joseph (Joey) DeMarco

Joey DeMarco is Spark's Climate Communications Specialist. He most recently led marketing and communications for Calyx Global, an independent carbon credit rating agency. Joey has worked in communications and marketing at a number of organizations, including The Washington Post and USAID's climate, natural environment, and public affairs offices. He holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago. 

Joey lives in Washington, DC. He originally hails from Louisville, Kentucky, and, true to his Kentucky heritage, is a semi-competent banjo player.
